Another activity performed by SC CEREALCOM SA is sunflower seed processing in the Oil production plant Rosiorii de Vede.

The oil production plant includes:

• sunflower seed extraction and processing with a capacity of 400 tonnes/24 hours;
• specialised oil processing where 84 tonnes of castor-oil plant, 45 tonnes of soya, 65 tonnes of flax or rape can be processed in 24 hours;
• 2 bottling lines - one in 1-litre bottles, with the capacity of 2500 bottles/8 hours and two for 1-litre PETs, with the productivity of 12000 pieces/8 hours.

The majority of the plants utilise equipment from market leaders in the field such as De Smet Belgium and Alpha Laval Netherlands thereby guaranteeing the highest quality finished product.
