SC Zimtub SA is an important Romanian producer of coil and welded steel pipes – with an active presence on the domestic and international market.  The range of products has been expanded to include specialist square and rectangular shaped tubes:

1. Helical welded steel pipes under flux layer
Dimensions:

• diameter (219,1 – 1626) mm
• wall thickness (4,8-12,5) mm
• length (6-12,5)m;
• material including OL 37.2, OL 42.2, OL 52.2

Fields of use:

• transport pipelines for liquid fuel, oil tanks, oil transport, gas, water;
• heating pipelines, gas ducts;
• general use : metallic constructions, installations

2.Longitudinal welded black  pipes, by induction with high frequency current
 Dimensions:
-diameter 25.4 mm – 88.9 mm
- wall thickness (0.8-3.2 mm)
- length: 3.0-8 m
- material OL 37

Fields of use :
- round and square longitudinal welded steel pipes, for metallic constructions, machinery and general use pipes.

Zimtub has implemented a quality assurance system according to ISO 9001 certified by TUV Suddeuntschland Munchen and according to API Specification Q1, certified by API Washington. Current developments include investment for pre-insulation of the pipes produced by the factory, being the only suppliers of pre-insulated pipes for the gas and water network pipelines currently in Romania.
